About the Blogger

My name is Jo, I’m a 27 year old college student finishing my undergrad degree at SUNY (State University of New York) Fredonia. I’m a major in Radio and Music Producing and I love being live on the air Dee-jaying and hosting shows.

My hobbies include Audio mixing, podcasting, web design, computer graphic design, drawing, painting, writing, playing violin and dancing. I love doing most anything on computers and the internet or anything performance based and artistic. I have written fanfiction and done art in homage of Star Wars for years and until recently owned and operated an officially licensed website for Bonanza (the classic TV western). I have been active on the net for years and now after 5 years of presiding over a board I’ve decided to return to fanfiction my first great passion.

I’m very active in radio broadcasting and do a lot of solo work in audio design, though I am half deaf I’ve succeeded and won awards for my work. I was recently offered the chance of taking an internship next summer at the BBC in London England and have started work to hopefully make that a reality. In addition to that I took a class on The Beatles this past semester and the paper I wrote with my partner on their influence in the counterculture movement won a lot of praise and we’ve been entered into the expo next year in spring. So now my 10 page paper is now quickly becoming an 80 page paper. But thankfully it’s a topic I adore so I don’t mind the work, hopefully it’ll be published.
